About me

Hi! My name is Phillip Hollis and I’m an insurance broker in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. I’ve also served in the Navy for 21 years. I have 23 years of insurance sales experience and work primarily with Medicare, Health & Life Insurance, Retirement Plans, Employee Benefits, Supplemental Insurance, Disability, Long Term & Home Care. Through the years of being an insurance broker, I’ve seen most people get sold policies that they just don’t understand, and I wanted to take a different approach. By educating them on what insurance does, I could give them more value for the money they were spending to cover their families, and empower them to make the best decisions for them. I am a firm believer in the power of choice. I recognized early on that every personal, family, and business situation is unique and that no one will ever fit into a cookie cutter plan. By offering choices to my clients and truly educating them about each one, they are afforded the chance to be covered and feel secure when they need to rely on the insurance. One of my favorite aspects of being an insurance broker is building relationships with my client. Having these relations allows me to gain trust with my clients and be more involved in my community. Community organizations I am involved in are Lions International (District Governor 27-C1 for 2023), the Portage County Business Council, and the Downtown Business Association.
